Escape

The Escape also has a “Top Pick” safety rating by the IIHS. Take a look at the Ford Escape safety rating along with other Ford vehicles.

The Escape’s handling is enhanced by a feature called Advance Trac with RSC (Roll Stability Control) which has a unique vehicle-roll motion sensor that works in conjunction with the ABS, traction control and yaw control. This system is standard on the Escape. You may say, “well I’m not an aggressive driver so this is not important to me”. While you may not be that kind of driver, if you have to maneuver quickly on the highway to avoid another driver’s bad driving, that is when Advance Trac is a very important feature.

The Ford Escape has a versatile seating set up that allows you to fold down the back seat and have it lay flat unlike many models that have the fold down seat on an angle. This allows the storage of larger items and boxes neatly fit on the level surface. The Escape also has an optional lockable rear cargo compartment that is part of the Cargo Convenience package which is great for storing valuables securely out of sight.
